The next generation in traffic monitoring

With the launch of Compact PLUS, TagMaster introduces the latest generation of technology into the marketplace for traffic monitoring. The Compact PLUS has been specifically aimed at the traditional count classifier requirements. Capable of running multiple survey types simultaneously, with provision for inputs of up to 16 inductive loops, the Compact PLUS can handle the traffic monitoring requirements in a simple, small, and easy to use stand-alone system utilising 4G communications with battery* or solar power options. PoE is also built-in as an alternative power option. 

*As batteries are consumables and their lifetime is subject to handling and maintenance, the batteries are not included as part of the standard product warranty.

Compact PLUS can also be used with loops for bicycle counting. The device is fully IP66 compliant while SIM card and memory card are still easily accessible. 

The unit has Bluetooth for easy installation and configuration. Smart security is implemented to ensure the high level of security that is a cornerstone of the TagMaster products and combine this with the easy-of-use that is expected. A physical paring (requiring access to the padlock of the equipment) is always used when establishing a connection the very first time. Later use of a Bluetooth connection with the same device is done via a unique password in the background, without requiring any specific user interaction. 

It is supported by EasySetup, a modern and very well-designed Android app for setup. This provides all the tools needed for site installation and commissioning, site validation and fault diagnostics as well as manual data collection if required. Compact PLUS is compatible with all TagMaster Traffic Monitoring software products and is UTMC compatible together with Catalyst. The middleware EasyData offers a Rest API running as a Docker image.
