COMMITMENT TO ACHIEVING NET ZERO
TagMaster UK Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 (or earlier where possible).
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the poas and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.
Scope 1. Direct Emissions. These are emissions that are based on TagMaster UK’s fuel consumption for vehicles used for business purposes.
Scope 2. Indirect Emissions from Purchased Energy. This covers emissions from sources that TagMaster UK owns or controls directly – i.e. Building energy and consumption.
Scope 3. Indirect Emissions in the Supply Chain. This covers emissions which are emissions that result from the organisations supply chain but occur outside of the organisations direct operations. An example of this is when we buy, use and dispose of prouducts from suppliers. Scope 3 emissions (when reported) include all sources not within the scope 1 and 2 boundaries. Currently TagMaster UK is not assessing all Scope 3 emissions due to the complexities of data collection and verification challenges and limited resources. Instead, TagMaster are focusing on reducing emissions for Scope 1 and 2 and plan to start assessing Scope 3 emissions by 2028.
